Meet the Trust Members

I am a mum of 3 boys and have been coming to forest with minded children since 2008. I joined the governing body when my eldest was at forest as I wanted to have some input into my sons school and provide some support. I enjoy being involved in the financial side of governance and understanding just how much goes into ensuring our children have a great education and a wonderful environment to learn. I have a scientific background and have been part of several science weeks, providing children with new experiences.

After many years in industry and having worked in many countries over many years as well as serving as a Governor at St Mary’s Academy in Mildenhall I have been fortunate enough to join the St Mary’s team as Operations Manger/ CFO.
I have three Daughters, two of whom went all the way through St Mary’s and on to MCA.
When the opportunity arose to join St Mary’s it felt like an ideal time to take my skill set into St Mary’s and support its new Leadership team.
My personal satisfaction comes from making a difference to children’s outcomes as well as building relationships and a strong resilient team that makes a difference and to leave a legacy for future students and parents alike.
If I can help and impart ideas and experiences to others along the way, all the better.

I am now retired with time on my hands - I have grandchildren at primary school in St Albans and thought I might be able to bring some of my business background into helping a school!
