UKS2 – Spring 2
This half term in our geography work, the children have thoroughly enjoyed learning about
the Amazon rainforest, including the important issue of deforestation. They have shown
great curiosity and engagement with this topic, developing both their knowledge and
understanding of the wider world.
Birch Class have also really enjoyed their swimming sessions this term, showing increasing
confidence and enthusiasm in the water.
It has been wonderful to hear the Year 5 pupils playing the doods—they have made fantastic
progress and their improvement over the year has been impressive.
Looking ahead to next term, we are excited about our upcoming visit to Gressenhall, which
will give the children the opportunity to feel what a Victorian workhouse would have felt like.
